Lately, I’ve occupied that place in my mind way too often. You know the one. The place where you don’t feel any joy or contentment. You feel unwelcome in your own body. It’s a very lonely place that I believe everyone visits from time to time. Thankfully, our feelings aren’t always true, especially when they begin to tell our mind awful lies. Lies that align with what the enemy would want us to believe. In an instant, these thoughts can take you to some dark waters, and when you add in exhaustion to the equation—life can feel downright pointless. But there is hope. Always. Jesus had some pretty amazing things to say and extend to those who felt pointless, broken, weary, and lost—at the end of the day, we are all pretty broken and lost. But thankfully, he is hope. And we can always remind ourselves who we are because of what He did.

Christoph just did this design for a shirt! Thinking of putting it as an option on the shop. What do you think?

To those of you who are suffering unimaginable loss—God is with you. It’s in Him we place our trust. It’s in Him we place our hope. May God use your experience of grief to strengthen your heart, so your perspective turns to the things eternal and unseen. God is always good.
